ANNUAL SARASOTA SHELL SHOW
The Sarasota Shell Club's annual show takes place in mid-February and is held at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium, located at 801 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL. Profits from previous Shell Shows have been donated to various organizations, including the Sarasota County School District (towards the Carefree Learner), Mote Marine Laboratory and the Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum on Sanibel Island, among others.
Exhibits will be judged on Friday evening in the Scientific and Artistic categories. Four judges will award ribbons and trophies. Dealers will be in attendance at the show to sell specimen shells and other shell-related items.
